Elsewhere, Uganda's largest protected area, Murchison Falls National Park hosted the Members of Parliament on the Tourism, Trade and Industry committee led by Hon. Flavia Kabahenda who not only appreciated the conservation strategies but the diverse tourism products including the Top of the falls trail which offered them spectacular sceneries.
The cashless system of payment for visitors to access the parks and activities was successfully launched in Bwindi and is soon rolling to the other parks. UWA was represented at the Great Apes Summit in the USA while our Deputy Director Conservation embarked on his new role as a conservation ambassador by giving talks to global audiences in Canada.
