Statement on the recent incidents in Uganda's National Parks

During the past two weeks, three sad incidents happened in our national parks. One incident involved the decimation of a pride of 11 lions near Hamukungu Fishing Village in Queen Elizabeth National Park (QENP). The other incident was the reported death of a French tourist working with the French Embassy in Nairobi who collapsed and died on 14th April 2018 after tracking Gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and the recent one when we registered the death of another lion in QENP.
